Fiberglass Reinforced Stone domes
GFRS (Glass Fiber Reinforced Stone)was invented here at Stromberg's, 20 years ago. It is like fiberglass in all respects, except the surface is made of stone aggregate, bound together by polymers. This gives it the appearance, look, feel, and character of carved stone, but at a fraction of the weight. Like FRP domes, GFRS domes stand up to snow, and freezing temperatures, hurricane force winds, salt water and acid rain.
