Renovation and restoration applications for domes

Domes restoration

Some of the most familiar and recognizable architectural domes in the world were built literally hundreds of years ago. At that time, domes were constructed from materials like stone and wood, making them much more susceptible to damage from termites, precipitation, extreme weather events, and general wear and tear compared to the architectural fiberglass domes designed and installed by Stromberg. Architectural domes that appear on important buildings such as the Texas State Capitol have historical and cultural significance, which is why great efforts are made to restore and repair these structures. At Stromberg, we have completed restoration work on many well-known domes in the United States.

Using our extensive knowledge of domes and the same state-of-the-art materials that we use in all of our reinforced domes, we are able to restore these structures to their original appearance. In addition, by using our strong, durable, and weather-resistant materials to accomplish these important dome restorations, it is likely that additional renovations or restorations will not be required any time in the near future. If future repairs or renovations are required, Stromberg's architectural fiberglass domes are much easier to permanently repair than other types. Stromberg has worked on restoring notable projects such as the Texas State Capitol, the D.A. Blodgett Building, and the St. Lawrence Courthouse, among numerous others.
