This superb rendering of Notre Dame's traditional, collegiate gothic architecture--on a massive scale-- is entirely harmonious with its surroundings.-- Notre Dame website
University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center (DPAC) houses both performance spaces and classrooms within the traditional gothic decor seen in other Notre Dame buildings. To achieve the gothic look desired, Stromberg provided over 5,000 linear feet of trim and over 3,000 pieces of Glass Fiber Reinforced (GFRC) stonework quoins, archways, paneling and more.
While Notre Dame has become a symbol of American life through its esteemed history in education and athletics, so too has Stromberg become a symbol of the American dream through its history of success. Originally a family-owned business working locally in a small town, now Stromberg Architectural Products has projects around the U.S. and the world, such as the Palmilla Resort in Mexico or the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.
