Ecclesiastical overview

Historically, houses of worship and other buildings with religion as their foundation have stood as the crowning architectural and artistic achievements of their eras. The beauty of the Parthenon, the Sistine Chapel, and the Basilique du Sacr Cur bears testimony not only to the importance of the buildings' purpose, but also to the expertise of their architects. This tradition of marrying exquisite craftsmanship with the strength of a community's faith is ongoing, whether in the construction of a new chapel, the renovation of a cathedral, or any other architectural ecclesiastical endeavor.

Certain structures are distinguished by their specific architectural elements. The Sistine Chapel without its dome would of course not be so resplendent, but would also fall short of the tradition of Catholic church architecture that is as devoutly followed as her liturgy. From our draftsmen to our foremen, Stromberg Architectural relies on experienced and informed craftsmen. We have more than 25 years practice of a repertoire that excludes no church architectural element.

Not an exhaustive list of architectural elements familiar to the architecture of worship that we can create-our team of artists and artisans have crafted liturgical art, stained glass, sculpture, belfries, bell towers, steeples, campaniles, cupolas, columns, lanterns, domes, clock towers, finials, surrounds, baldachins, baptismal fonts, and other exterior and interior details.
