The Saint Anthony Cathedral at Beaumont, Texas houses a granite font and an ornate baldachin, which we constructed with the building's original elements as guide. The baldachin, made of plaster, fiberglass and marble, incorporates statuary original to the cathedral. The font is lined with Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) to extend its life and make it more watertight. The cathedral underwent remodeling in 2003-2004 to accommodate an expanding congregation.

Stromberg cast molds of the original font to create the new design, which encompasses the primary pool, along with its granite steps, and a chalice-shaped fixture to house the water supply. Primarily granite, the new font has a Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) lining, protecting the porous stone and extending its life.

Like with the font, Stromberg's baldachin design utilized the old. This Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) baldachin incorporates ornate designs, a gold leaf dome, and restored statuary. The dome design comprises the inner dome that is centered between four recessed lights, which illuminate the altar, and the outer dome that prominently displays restored pieces from the original baldachin. Resined together with elaborate cornice, the domes form one complete fixture entirely designed, manufactured and installed by Stromberg Architectural.
