The most memorable feature of this selection is clearly the bas relief above the fireplace opening. Stromberg's artisans have used a sculpture technique developed thousands of years ago to create the classical Greek scene. Above the side posts, smaller figures are depicted in delicate ovals. Thankfully, this fireplace only looks as though it could have been produced many years ago. The classical design is executed using tough, non-combustible materials that will last and hold up beautifully to regular use with proper maintenance and care.
